Dr. Fizyoterapist Hatice Reyhan Özgöbek graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1989. In the first 10 years of her career, she specialized in rehabilitation services for children and individuals with disabilities. In 1998, she successfully passed the Social Services and Child Protection Agency (SHÇEK) exams and began her career as a public officer.Throughout her tenure at SHÇEK, she worked in various departments, dedicating nearly a decade to the Süleyman Demirel Nursing Home and Elderly Care and Rehabilitation Center in Ankara. Her experience in this institution provided invaluable insight into elderly care and rehabilitation, shaping her expertise in the field. During this period, she also pursued academic studies at Hacettepe University Social Sciences Institute, Department of Health Management, focusing on disability and aging research. Additionally, she actively participated in numerous civil society organizations, contributing to initiatives related to social services and rehabilitation.With the establishment of the Ministry of Family and Social Services in 2011, she was appointed to the General Directorate of Disabled and Elderly Services, where she played a pivotal role in developing quality standards for care services. Currently, she continues her work in the Department of Social and Economic Participation, focusing on enhancing integration and support services for individuals in need.
