She graduated from Çukurova University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Biology in 2009. Between 2009 and 2012, she completed her master's degree at Çukurova University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biology. From 2013 to 2019, she pursued her doctoral studies at the same institution. Between 2011 and 2019, she worked as a research assistant at Çukurova University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biology, Health Sciences Institute. In 2019, she started working as an Assistant Professor at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biology, where she continues her duties.
She has experience in cytogenetic laboratories (cell culture in postnatal and prenatal diagnostic laboratories, chromosome preparation, karyotype analysis), molecular genetics (gene silencing using siRNA method, QF PCR, DNA and RNA isolation, ELISA, Western Blot Analysis), animal model creation (models of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and Alzheimer's disease), and cell culture diabetic and neurotoxic modeling. She has published numerous research and review articles in international and national journals on neurogenetics, molecular genetics, type 3 diabetes, brain insulin resistance, and the genetics and epigenetics of Alzheimer's disease. She has also presented many oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences, participated in projects supported by TÜBİTAK and Scientific Research Programs, authored book chapters, and served as a reviewer for many scientific journals.
She holds certificates in the following areas: Use of Experimental Animals (Çukurova University), Practical Training on Embryonic Stem Cell Culture (TÜBİTAK MAM GMBE), "Certification of the 1st International Certificate Program on Predictive and Personalized Medicine/Healthcare in Daily Modern Medicine and Pharmacy" (Eskişehir Anadolu University Faculty of Pharmacy), and "Molecular Biological Bioinformatics Applications" (Ankara University).
In addition to her scientific achievements, she is a certified RYS 200-hour Yoga Alliance yoga instructor (Vivekananda yoga/sVYASA university method) and a hammock yoga instructor and practitioner.
